Competitive Company Dance

​

The Studio 412 Company is available for students who are committed to and enjoy the challenge and excitement of competitive dance. Company dancers train more rigorously and attend technique classes in several dance genres twice per week. Auditions are held at the beginning of each season so that developing dancers are placed in classes that will most effectively support their individual learning and mastery of technical skills. Company dancers also attend workshops and conventions throughout the season to accelerate their growth and ensure familiarity with current trends.  

Dancers of all skill levels are offered multiple opportunities, in different forms of dance, to participate in local and national competitions.  Competitive group rehearsals are held on Saturdays.  Opportunities for solos, duos and trios are also available.  Company dancers perform alongside Recreational students in our spring recital.

Studio 412 dancers are a team.  Dancers participate in team building activities and also attend full company classes.  Parents and dancers both must agree to a code of conduct as we strive to maintain a positive, encouraging and supportive environment for all.
